A violent incident has reportedly marred the All Progressives Congress (APC) ward congress in Ondo State, as the exercise turned bloody in Idanre, Idanre Local Government Area of the state.
According to reports gathered by SUNSHINETRUTH News, chaos erupted during the congress, leading to serious injuries and fatalities.
The circumstances surrounding the outbreak of violence were still sketchy at the time of filing this report.
Sources disclosed that no fewer than three persons sustained severe injuries in the clash and were rushed to nearby medical facilities for treatment.
Tragically, two individuals were feared dead as a result of the violence. Among those reportedly killed was a younger brother of the Ondo State APC Chairman, Ade Adetimehin.
