ONDO: How my mother was killed --- Daughter

A five year old daughter of the deceased, Fayoke has narrated how her mother was killed  She alledge her father, identified as Gbenro of killing her mother Wayesola by strangling her to death.  She said she saw her father on the bed turning her mum’s  neck when she was going to toilet  that morning. She added that her father threatened to kill her when she made an attempt to ran outside to seek the help of their neighbours. She said she later saw her mum’s lifelessly body beside her father on the bed while their neighbours came to covered her with clothe. It was the neighbours that alerted the deceased brother on phone. They locked up the man and the lifeless body of his wife inside the room so that he won’t be able to escape as the deceased  brother went to Enuowa station in Ondo city to report the matter. ONDO: Corps members tasked to embrace Agriculture

A staff of International Institute of Tropical Agriculture (IITA), Mr. John Obaniyi has declared that the only panacea to youth unemployment in Nigeria and other African countries is agriculture..  Mr. Obaniyi made the declaration in his lecture to the 2021 Batch 'A' (Stream 1) corps members at the NYSC Permanent Orientation Camp, Ikare-Akoko. Mr. Obaniyi asserted that the best and only credible alternative that will make youths to be fully integrated and empowered is active involvement in agriculture. This writeup is for general consumption because the two keywords has a universally accepted meaning. An incident occurred recently in a public gathering and the reaction of the individual concerned is relative to Zero tolerance, hence let's look at the dictionary meaning from Oxford Tolerance is the willingness to accept somebody /something, especially opinions behaviors that you may not agree with or people who are not like you. Ondo Govt okays payment of WAEC fees of 25,736 students

Ondo State Government has approved the payment of School Certificate Examination Fees otherwise known as WAEC Fees for students in public schools in the state. This followed the approval of a memo sent to the governor, Oluwarotimi Akeredolu, SAN by the State Ministry of Education, Science and Technology and signed by the signed by the Permanent Secretary, Mrs Lola Amuda. The memo was dated March 17, 2021. In approving the memo the following day, Governor Akeredolu further instructed that the sum be “paid directly to WAEC to be receipted for”. Recall that at a public function Akure early this year, Governor Akeredolu promised to take the burden of the payment of WAEC fees off parents to cushion the effect of hardship imposed by COVID-19. Ondo State Governor, Arakunrin Oluwarotimi Akeredolu,SAN, has approved the appointment of Princess Catherine Oludunni Odu as Secretary to the State Government. Princess Odu, a legal practitioner, was the Chairman of the State Universal Basic Education Board (SUBEB) before her appointment. She holds the following Degrees: • LLM (University of Lagos) •Bachelor Of Law(Nigerian Law School) •Bachelor of Law(University of Lagos) •Master of Science (Industrial Sociology, University of Calabar) and, •BSc.
