BTO4PBAT Hosts Members in Ondo, Seeks Support for Tinubu’s Re-Election

The leadership of the BTO4PBAT in Ondo State has hosted members of the group, ward coordinators, and residents of the state to a get-together party sponsored by the Minister of Interior, Olubunmi Tunji-Ojo. Speaking at the colourful event, the Director-General of BTO4PBAT, Adesuyi Adojutelegan, said the programme was organised to appreciate members and supporters for their unwavering support for President Bola Ahmed Tinubu. Adojutelegan noted that President Tinubu deserves re-election based on what he described as the administration’s notable achievements, particularly in stabilising the economy and the construction of durable road infrastructure across the country. What Christmas means to us ---Clerics

The respondents stated their expectations and the importance of the day in separate interviews with the News Agency of Nigeria (NAN) in Ibadan on Tuesday. They also called on governments at all levels to tighten security, thus guaranteeing safe travelling and a hitch-free celebration. The Most Rev. Williams Aladekugbe, Archbishop of Ibadan Ecclesiastical Province and Bishop, Ibadan North Diocese, Anglican Communion, says the significance of Christmas lies in celebrating the birth of Jesus Christ. Aladekugbe said Christians should use the day to express gratitude to God for His wondrous love towards mankind. ODIRS Holds Christmas Carol, Retirement Party

The Ondo State Internal Revenue Service (ODIRS) on Thursday, December 18, 2025, held its Christmas Carol and Retirement Party at the Revenue House, bringing together management, staff, and retirees in a celebration of faith, service, and gratitude. The event commenced with a colourful processional hymn led by the ODIRS Choir, setting a reverent tone for the celebration. The family of the late Babatunde Oladimeji (Orlando West) has announced the bur!al arrangements, taking place on Wednesday, December 24th. According to a statement signed by Olalekan Felix, CEO of Lakersband, the b0dy will depart Ondo town by 8am for Owo, where a short church service will be held. Interment will follow at the family home in Owo. Light refreshments will be served after the ceremony. The governor made the approval on Saturday night during a Media Stakeholders’ Dinner held at the Banquet Hall of the Government House, Akure, where journalists, media executives and government officials gathered to review the state of media–government relations in the state.
