The Olowo of Owo, His Imperial Majesy, Oba Ajibade Gbadegesin Ogunoye III has rekindle the evergreen memories of the late African Kenneries Singer, late Stephen Olaore Oladipupo Owomoyela popularly known as Dr Orlando Owoh.
The Monarch said the African Kenneries master has brought fame to Owo, Ondo State and Nigeria through his music.
Oba Ogunoye stated this at the presentation of a biography on the late Orlando, Dr Orlando Owoh, Life Times, Music and Messages authored by an Ogbomosho born seasoned journalist, writer and public analyst, Honourable Folaranmi Adewuyi Adegbite.
He described Dr Orlando Owoh as a pride to Owo as a place and the people of Owo across the globe proud.
The Olowo who said the late globally accepted musician was a colossus stated that although he is gone, his music, an all times philosophical masterpiece, has continued to impact positively on mankind.
Endorsing the book and recommending same for all Owo indigenes, lovers of Orlando Owoh and the people at large, Oba Ogunoye said the messages in the music of the late musical legend will forever be a blessing to mankind.
The Olowo commended the biographer for immortalizing Dr Orlando Owoh.
Earlier the author, Honourable Folaranmi Adewuyi Adegbite had commended the monarch for responding positively to his request despite sending his request through the social media for the first time despite not coming into contact with him.
Adewuyi described the action of the Olowo as rare and uncommon judging by his status.
