It was a celebration galore during the weekend as two journalists working with Ondo State based radio station, Crest FM bagged merit awards in Ibadan, the Oyo state capital at the just concluded Primus media Awards
Newsline NG learnt that the event was organized for broadcasters between ages 18-30 in South West Nigeria.
The award has proved Crest Fm's worth as a fast-rising media organization in Nigeria.
The event held in Ibadan, the Oyo state capital last weekend had in attendance Management and staff of radio stations across the southwest region.
The two award recipients from Crest FM; Funmilayo Afolabi and Dayo Afolabi received an award in the listener's choice category male and female (Osun, Ondo, Ekiti).
In a remark, Crest FM's Chief Operating Officer, Adeolu Gboyega commended them for making the station proud, saying it's a good achievement.
Receiving the awards, the award recipients thanked God, their family, and colleagues for the opportunity and the supports.
They also promised not to rest on their oars but rather strive for excellence at all times in the discharge of their duties.
