The Royal Shepherds of the Ado Divisional Council, RS Major Michael Adegboyega Ogunmodede has tasked officers of Ado divisions to embrace evangelism which is the core mandate of the organization.
Ogunmodede disclosed this during the 2023 Ado Divisional Camp/Rally held at Christ Apostolic Church, Oke Alafia, Oniyo DCC headquarters, Ajilosun, Ado Ekiti.
He said, "Let us continue to put in our best to win souls for Christ which is our core mandate, let our behavior, our dealing, our thoughts win souls for Christ, I pray that God will continue to be our strength in Jesus' name"
His words," I want to urge you to take this competition seriously, as we all know we are going to compete with other Divisional Councils in October this year at the Regional level at Ijero Ekiti, I want you to do more than the way we do last year by beating other Divisional Councils and to be crown champion again this year""
"I want to warmly welcome you all to this year 2023 Ado Divisional camp of the Royal Shepherds in the name of God Almighty, I want to use this medium to appreciate the Oniyo battalion for granting our request to make use of this auditorium, special thanks to the DCC chairman Pastor Benjamin and the board of Elders for your corporation, God will continue to bless his church in Jesus name amen.
He appreciated the planning committee for doing a great job and for making camp this year camp worthwhile, among the committee of the Divisional Council in Ekiti State I can boldly say Ado Divisional Council Committee members are the best, thanks for all you do and God will continue to bless and strengthen you in Jesus name
"To all my Executives, State Executives, Unit Coordinators, Captains, Lieutenants all rank and file, I thank you for your cooperation and support given to this small boy and God Almighty" he further said
"I especially thank this man of God, men of many parts, our spiritual fathers Ado Divisional Chaplain R S Pastor S O Popoola, his Assistant R S Pastor Adeleye Adeyemi, and our number man at the Regional Council RS Brigd. Gen. Pius Ogunjobi, God bless you, sirs
Earlier, the Regional Commander of Sophia Ajayi Region, RS Bridg. General Pius Ogunjobi in his keynote address welcomes all officers to the camp/really. He however charged members to be law-abiding and take heed to the rules of the camp.

"He also charged the division to get prepared for the forthcoming Regional Camp/rally which is coming up at Ijero Ekiti
Speaking with the RS Media Team, The chairman of the camp committee, RS Captain Julius Ogunniyi said that all the companies that participated in the competitions performed very well, but there must be a winner in any race. He charged all officers to make use of the experience gathered in the camp in their various habitats.
In his appreciation message, the Secretary to the Division, RS Lieut. Oluwatoyin Oyagnbile, " On behalf of all Executive and Camp committee will deeply appreciate everyone present at the camp, our sincere appreciation goes to the following: The Regional Commander(RS. Brig. General Pius Ogunjobi), the PA to the SOPHIA AJAYI Regional Superintendent (RS Lt. Col. Pastor Hope Ayeni), Ado Division Assistant Chaplain and his wife (RS. Pastor and Mrs. Adeleye Adeyemi), Ado Divisional Patron from 182nd(RS. Pastor Augustine), our Mummy from Olorunsogo(RS. Mrs. Ajayi), also some notable Mummy and Daddy in Christ I may not know their names, the Invited moderators, Captains, Lieutenant and all rank and files from each company, for all their contribution morally, financially and spiritually to the success of this year rally.
"Moreover, we send our great appreciation to the Hosting Church, the Oniyo DCC Chairman(Pastor Oluwatoyin Benjamen), and the entire Oniyo battalion at large for their care and hospitality during the cause of the rally. I pray may the Lord continues to hold his Church.
Highlights of the occasion included; Presentation of Progress Resort with the likes of, Art &Craft, Weaving, Rope Work Highway Code, First Aid Competition , Chess Game, Ludo Game, Scrabble Game among others
Newsline NG however gathered that Ekiti Company 129 became the overall best in the competitions, 193 with the second position, while 156 Ekiti Company came third in the competition.
