Officers of Federal Fire Service visits Ondo Assembly, as Member, Hon. Toyin Allen Advocates for thier presence in Ese-Odo

The officers of Federal Fire Service, led by the South West Zone L Commander and Assistant Comptroller of Fire Service, James Olatunji, paid a courtesy visit to Ondo State House of Assembly on Wednesday July 19, 2023. While speaking, the Member representing Ese-Odo Constituency, Hon. Ondo Reps member, Adefiranye moves motion on Ore, Ondo Akure road dualisation

The lawmaker representing Ile-Oluji/ Okeigbo/Odigbo Federal Constituency, Hon Festus Adefiranye has moved a motion on the need for rehabilitation and dualisation of Ore, Ondo, Akure federal road. Adefiranye who moved the motion on the floor of the house, said the  88. 41kilometer road has been earmarked for dualisation by the federal ministry of works several years ago. According to him, it is unfortunate that efforts by successive government to construct the road have failed to yield desired results. He added that the road section that took off from Akure traversed several cities, communities and towns in Akure south, Ondo east,  Ondo West, Odigbo local government areas. In the past weeks, some parts of Ese-Odo Local Government Area of Ondo State have been ravaged by flood and rainstorm, following incessant heavy downpour. Consequently, the Member representing Ese-Odo State Constituency at Ondo State House of Assembly, Hon. (Primate) Toyin Allen has called on the leadership of the House to swing into action and save the people from the devastating effects of flood and rainstorm in the affected areas. Hon. Allen made the call during the plenary session of the House held on Tuesday July 18, 2023, saying that the human and environmental conditions in the flooded and storm ravaged areas of the constituency require urgent and practical intervention in order to alleviate the sufferings of the despondent victims. Oyo corps members tasked to move with the trend of self employment

The State Coordinator of the National Youth Service Corps, Oyo State, Mr Odoba Abel Oche has urged corps members to move with the trend of self employment and entrepreneurship rather than searching for non-available white collar jobs. He encouraged the corps members to embrace valuable entrepreneural ideas that will reduce the unemployment rate in the country.
